Lauderdale-by-the-Sea's newest restaurant opened this year to a warm welcome. Family owned and operated by Marco and Chiara Iannuzzella a husband and wife team, the restaurant boosts an authentic cuisine and casual cozy dining experience. Completely renovated, POD is situated in the heart of Town and is open for lunch and dinner.

Marco has been cooking for over 10 years, starting as a teenager. It wasn't until he started his education in Hospitality that he realized his dream was to open a restaurant here in the US. Coming from Milan Italy both he and his wife are committed to giving diners a taste of their culture.

"The food comes from the different its original production region, such as lombardia for Salame  Gorgonzola, Friuli Venezia Giulia for San Daniele Ham,and Emilia Romagna for Parmigiano Reggiano, pidaza,. Marco

Gnocco Fritto is a traditional signature dish from north Emilia Romagna and is our chef's favorite. Pair it with a red sparkling sweet wine Lambrusco, or Bonarda, and indulge in a totally new experience. Chiara will educate you on what wines go with what dishes. It's a learning experience your mouth will thank you for.

When you are finished treating your taste buds to a delicious entree enjoy Chiara's favorite dessert chocolate truffle ,coffee drowned.

POD is looking for diners who want to experience food on a new level. Come with an appetite and open mind. The food is like nothing you have tried before, straight from Milan to South Florida.
